I had a 14 year old German Short Hair. The stories I could tell you about her and me. But yea, I feel for you man. It was only a few months after my divorse that I had to put her down also. I just could no longer stand to watch her suffer from her hips....Hardest thing I have ever done...

 

I updated my pics page again with another pic of Bailey I just took Tues.

Things were tough today.
I left work early today. I came home & gave Bailey a bath & combed his hair. He always liked that. His hair is rough & his skin is so loose, his nose was full of mucus because the cancer is in his lungs. But he still wagged his tail like he always did. Then we went outside & sat in the sun for about 10 minutes because he always liked that too. I got his green stuffed Teletubbie & his green collar & we went to the Vets. Things just didn't work out the way I had hoped. This was a bad week for Bailey & I probably should have done this last Friday. Bailey laid his head on his green teletubbie like he always did & I told him he was a good boy like I always did.

YOU killing me man!!! Sorry for the loss cuz I feel your pain we lost both our labs this year

 

Dang, that was rough man. I'm fighting them back, I bet you were as well. Sorry for the loss.

 

sorry to hear it man, I once loved a dog that much... it was a long time ago, it's hard to let the things you love go.

 

Sorry to hear that bro.... that must have been hard.... it was hard for me to even read (I was/am welled up).... keep your head up, give yourself some time, and then all you will remember is the good times you had with him. I am truly sorry for you loss.
