Why dont you consider a 250ex or the suzuki version of the beginner sport quad class. They do look better than the ds250...the ds250 is some taiwan made thing isnt it??

 

I also have a polaris 250 trailblazer 2-stoke.Mine will top 50mph with me on it.Has good mid range but a dogg on the start.Theres engine kits that can get 37horses out of the trailblazer.Very reilible too.Its not my ds but a good put around quad.

 

how much would a trailblazer with 37horses cost? thats about as much power as a 400, how fast would the trailblazer go with 37 horses, man i should have gotten one of those

 

when i got it brand new it went 45mph

but if you could only get a -250 here's my choices

ccylinder porting 249$,carb 319$,pipe 229$,clutch kit 96$.This doesnt include all machining.But this stuff will equall 34-39 horses on a trailblazer 250.If i didnt put any money into my 05 ds650x i would do this in a heart beat.

 

Is your Po. trail blazer an auto? how about the others? The auto trans is what's gonna sell the wife on a sport quad.
Even if the ds is a Tiwan made toy, Bomb must have some faith in it to put their name on it. I gotta get down to the dealer to ride one. I'd like to check out the ACats 250 as well.

 

Hey the trailblazer is an outomatic.Like i said if your wife outgrows it ther is some great potential in a 250 trailblazer.I mean its not my ds650 but it still can haull my 235lbs butt around.I jump that 250 4-5 feet in the air.And yeah i bottom out.I dont know much about the can-am 250.I just know about my quads.

 

now the polaris, that's one speed right. thats not even a quad. thats just a snowmobile with 4 wheels.

The dvx250 sucks, i would say that its the crappiest of all the 250s
