Hi all.I just picked up a 2002 DS50.The question i have is about the carb.Do these have some kind of rev limiter or is my carb stopped up.Even with me on it(245lbs),it takes of like a rocket but seems to be cuttin out once to speed.It seems like it would seriously fly if it would open on up.Any ideas?Thanks

 

Yep, theres a rev limiter. I think on the 2002 its set @7700rpm. I will be corrected if im wrong.

 

Is that a DS650 or DS50. I think the 50cc is a little small for a guy your size. I hope it's a DS650.

i was just playing about the vortex for the ds 50. i really dont know if they make one or not.

 

I emailed a place yesterday and they say its not available.Wonder if they make a larger front sprocket for the front??????????????????MUHAHAHAHAHAHA
