Well as some of you may know, I have been wrestling with the idea of getting rid of my KQ for a while now and this weekend I finally did it. I went to my dealership and I worked out a great deal on a 06 BRP 800 Max XT. $9200 OTD. I was sad to see the KQ go but I really wanted the power of the 800. Coming from sport quads the KQ's power never really did it for me. The thing that really pushed me over the edge was my wife saying how she would like to go riding w/me and not always have to ride her own. So off i went and then i came home it took it for it's first ride. My first impressions are that it handles great with the extra wheelbase really helping the stability especially on hill climbs. You definitely have to take corners a little wider but nothin to dramatic. It soaks up the bumps very well and you really can't tell you have a second person on the back. Then there is the motor. Unbelieveable. So much power all the time. Can't wait to get out and ride it some more.

Keithss...I also sold my K.Q. to get the Outy 800...the WOW factor will keep you happy. No comparison to the K.Q. whatsoever I.M.O.

 

I have been looking for a 800 max XT up in Mass and NH and the dealers here are really proud of them. One dealer wants $400 over MSRP and says he can move them just fine at that price. Keith what dealer did you get your quad from? I wouldn't mind a drive down to CT to get one at the price you did.

Wow, that included freight and licences? Amazing, my dealer quoted me 13,500.00 plus freight, taxes and licence. For a grand total of 16,157.00 after taxes. That would be 14557.46 in U.S. dollars for a 2007 800 max xt. Just not going to happen!

 

There are no state taxes in New Hampshire and if you don't register the quad there you won't have any other state fees either.
