was wondering what the top speed was. my buddies bike isnt fast enough to keep up

 

what gearing, how big of tires, new rev limiter?...stock they are anywhere from 73-76mph....they can pull mid 80's with diff gearing.

the none baja models will be faster than the regular old ds models.....the yellow ones due to a diff rev limiter but like i said above anywhere from 73 to 76

What i meant to say was....the Baja models will be faster than the non baja models because of the baja models having a raised limiter if i remember correctly....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

Put a ron woods cdi on it and it will run 80+.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I got clocked at 81 mph. That is all stock but a K&N filter at the time. Plus it is not a baja x.

 

81 mph with a stock cdi and just a filter that does prolly zilch. I know mine runs about 82 mph with what modds I have and no rev limiter and thats at around 8800 rpm topped out. That must be a quad built on a good day. cheers
