I'll not be leaving until Tuesday morning. Hopefully later, but that will depend on how long the ride there takes. Heard everywhere from 8 to 12 hours. Pulling in sometime Thursday evening. See ya'll there.

 

Looks like I will be leaving thursday night. Going to stay in reno thursday night and drive the rest of the way friday morning. Anyone have directions to DS Days from reno? How long should it take me from Reno as well.

 

JMAC, head west to state rd 50 towards Fallon, then take that all the way through to Utah, in Utah you will pass Delta, then Lyndyl, and after lyndyl its about 15 miles to the turn off into the dunes. There will be a sign. While your driving after lyndyl, you will see dunes on your left, thats them. It turns from state rd 50, to state rd 6 in Utah.

 

Jed, is there a place to fill the Toybox up with water and fuel near the dunes. I like to fill the toy box up once I get there instead of hauling a 1000lbs. Goes the same for fuel. Thanks in advance for the info.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you guys. The computers at work have a super filter now and I can only read the forms I can't post. I guess they expect us to actually work now. LOL.

Anyways the sand was awsome, nice and light and the hill was in good shape. The face was real smooth and the vally side was ok. There was some woops at the top but they wern't really that bad.

As for the wife and girlfriend thing. LOL I just forgot to change my page. I just go married in april and never changed the captions on the pics.


Well it is only 7 days and i will be headed down. Can't wait to see all the old faces and meet some new ones.

Mike, if you are coming up on I-15, then fill up your fuel in Nephi, right off the freeway. As for water, I have never dumped at the dump station, to know if they have culinary water. There is a tap or two in the parking lot, but depending on how busy it is when you get there, you might not get close enough to it to fill up. So I would see if the Gas station in Nephi will let you fill up, just to be sure.
