DS battery
#1
These batterys are very heavy but they have a good output. There has to be some lighter more compact battery that can work that could save 4-5 lbs. What about the new OUTY battery, How big is that and would it work? I know some guys are running smaller batterys, But can they push a nos system and not have to be jumped? Anyone have any ideas?

I am not to sure about the outy batteries but if they can start up an 800 v twin with efi I am sure they could push a ds650 with nos but I dunno if it'll fit in the stock bracket but I am sure you can fix that...The only way you could lose some weight is drain the cells down less but then you won't be holding as great of a charge...I think you are better off just keeping the one you have.

Well, all that responded to my question thanks for the help. Sincerely I appreciate it.
BUT, To the guys who didnt want to help and have light batteries that were trying to be sneaky, I found a battery half, maybe a QUARTER the weight of stock that cranks the LIVING HECK out of my high comp motor. Just to test her to see how she charges on the ds, I put it on the charger to see where the amps read. I then put it on the ds to see if the bike would charge it. I started it up, let it idle for about 8 mins (reved her a few). I then read the battery again and she went up showing that it charged by the bike.

I have to get it on the scale. Its half the weight of my stocker EASILY! I will weigh it and get exact #s. Its strickly for drag racing bikes imo. The place I got it filled it with fluid and capped it up. Im a little concerned about that but I dont hit whoops or anything anyhow. I just could believe it turned the bike over like it did. Ive been testing other small battery and none hold a candle. This one is got me excited.
