Well polaris now has a KTM 525 powerd dirtbike engine in there outlaw frame and they claim its the fastest accelerating quad ever made....that has always sounded like a very good engine for putting out hp might be one fast quad. What do ya all think.

 

Well I think if I were drag racing that would be a pretty good quad to have.

I'd like to see a 500 or 650 v-twin Renegade in a 500 lb chasis.

 

I would like to see a 800 twin DS with a manual clutch that weighs the same or maybe a bit less than the ds does now....now that would be a sport quad.

 

The most similar thing i think we will see in the near future dunerider is a Renegade with a clutch kit

 

that's cool news, wonder if they will put it into the predator or another rigid axle single shock swinger model for the duners and mxer's?

 

that would be oustanding, i would be happy with a single cylinder 800 ds

 

We just got a 800 Outlander and man that thing is shockingly fast. I raced some raptors with paddles and alot smaller guys than me and beat them....bad. If the 800 twin does that well in a big, heavy utility frame just think what it would do in the DS frame with a manual shift[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

KTM does make a sweet motor, too bad they put it in a Polaris. just my .02¢
