Default rear paddles!!

have been running 22x11x10 extreme haulers, on douglas red lables! would it be to my advantage to go to smaller rim size?? what are the ds"s running in the 5.0-4.6 range running! I feel that the grey ghost has the power with the new set up!!!lol but sincere I am aware that gearing, and everything else goes together, just looking for tire size ,paddles, rim size!!!!

Default rear paddles!!

When i switch from my triple buffed tires with lightened hubs to my extremes with regular hubs i would guess that in a 300 foot uphill race i am 3 to 4 lengths slower at the least. The difference is very noticeable. My triple buffed tires on 8" .125 wheels come in at about 11 lbs per tire and wheel and my extremes on 10".160 wheels are 16 1/2 or 17 i cant remember exactly but again it is a big difference.

Are ya racing or Duning in Glamis??
I dont know about Racing Tire setups, but for duning, what you have is dang good, you get the floatation and the hookup, 10 paddle is alot of hookup to spin, I had 20 11 10 at first and with my weight I kept sinking no floatation kept turning into a rototiller in the dunes, then went to 22 11 8 extreme haulers and had the floatation and the wheel spin I needed, Im guessing as the my motor gets buildt up I might need to go to a 9 paddle.
Oh the neat thing about skat is you can have your paddles tunned to your HP, if your hooking up to hard they can MOD the paddles with a stagger cut so they can spin easier, and replace paddles if you ever rode hard pack in Glamis or rode out to Mommoth wash you end up replacing paddles every 3 trips.
