Default can't afford to change oil

I look at it this way. My oil change is about 40 bucks, with me doing it myself! But, 40 dollars vs a 7000 dollar machine? Its not a hard choice for me

I have been running valvoline motorcycle oil 4 stroke 20/50.. 3 bucks a quart. It has superior wet clutch protection.

I change my filter every 3-5 outing, But I change my oil almost every outing so the filter stays half way clean. JMO
this is what I do, there is no need to change the filter everytime, if you change oil frequently, inspect it, if it looks good reuse it. My dealer charged me 12 something for a filter, I found some for 3.99 for the YFZ. then I found 6 packs even cheaper on ebay. I have ran that valvoline oil also~now I can't find it any more
