my stock tach had the orange needle, like you said this one has diffrent numbers and a white needle. I like this one better the amber illumination is way better at night!! good luck

Parker Yamaha used to have the best internet prices for DS OEM items but BigDaddy sent me shopping at Proshop Motorsports and Marine in Hendersson, NV. They smoked Parker price wise and very fast shipping also. Give them a call. 702-564-8895.

I like Ebay for parts, but buying USED Electronic parts gets me nervous, I called both places Parker was teh best price was 140 bucks, they wnat 14 for the hole pre made dash, has any one put 1 of these kits on 2001 yet??

 

I've put two of them on two different 03's.
What did Proshop quote you? I got it cheaper there than what Parker quoted me. And the precut dash was $10 from them. I believe I was out $140 total with s&h for the tach kit and dash.

 

Proshop wanted $165 for the tach, they said they got a flood of calls on them in the last 5 days

did you buy the dsh with all 3 tachs you installed> I did NOT. My friend did one & said it was easy to use his rotozip on. I hope so! For $10 I don't need the hassle!
