The only do or don't that i can offer that is not a myth is, the last time I went down (year ago) that they asked for proof of ownership at the border for the bikes. We had our titles and had no problems at all.

Are you staying in the park or on the beach? If you staying on the beach do not get all four wheels off of the hardpack! Do not ask how I know. You can put your trailer on the beach if you have 4 wheel drive, make sure the front tires stay on the hard pack. You do not have to worry in the park. Plenty of riding area outside of the park. Go to JJ's in choya bay and get some fish & chips from the kitchen outside the bar goes very good with a cold cerveza. Make sure you have your titles and or registrations for your vehicles, trailers and toys. Have a good time, we are going down mid October when the kids are out of school, we are staying at the Reef also.

Man you make want to load up and go!

Definately knobbies. Decent riding, there is sand right outside of the park to the left and right. No special trails or scenic rides. You can ride along the beach just watch how far south you go towards Playa Bonita, the federales will come after you and make you pay your "fine" on the spot or take you and your quad. It sounds like you have a beach front spot in the park because the beach outside of the park is first come first served, no reservations required. Also no hook ups on the beach. If you guys make a trip to the fish market and want to eat, try Mary's you can get a big platter of sea food that will feed 4 adults for like $25.

Just trying to help a brother out, I would never admit to getting stuck. But I might know some one who did.

Im going to be there the first week of Oct. There used to be alot more trails to ride but thanks to the recent development they have leveled out alot of the area near the beach. Not sure of the real name of the drag hill there but everyone calls it competition hill, if you ride it all the way to the top it is worth the short hike to the top, great view.

I have some friends that are going to Rocky Point and Riding to El Gulfo. They are going on Oct. 6-8th.
They were going to stay at a campground down there and rent their trailers.
They just found out that Either RP or EG is under 2' of mud!!! The RV resort CANCELLED their reservations!!!

You may want to call them up and make sure they're still open.

KTG good info!! El gulfo has the mud, the last hurricane, tropical storm did not mud up Rocky Point!! They called me today to verify, reservations, and thanks to your input was able to inquire! Yes we are staying at the reef,on their beach front bay with hook ups!! They said depending on person too your left or right you will need thirty amp, or fifty amp plug in! depending on which one of the two are available!! Comp Hill is in comparision to what hill, you would say?? Sand up the hill or dirt?? once agian appreciate the "Bomb" brothers input! Semper Fi carlton
