some sales rep came out to the ranch today trying to seel us somestuff called maxilube. anyway he said it reduces heat and friction inside the motor. he said that when the engine starts to heat up the metal expands allowing this maxilube to penetrate the metal giving you that extra protection from scarring or what not. he said it is mainly for farm equiptment and cars and trucks, but then he also pulled out some pictures of guys on there drag bikes that run it. do any of you guys run this stuff and what are the ups and downs of this , like an idiot we bought 4 gallons for the ranch. he also said that a few bikes with turbos run it and they have not had anymore problems with the turbos due to heat reduction. is this true or is he blowing smoke up my a$$

stay away from snake oil, you have everything you need in a good synth, or mineral oil. Dont mess with the recipe ;-)
