Default ITP, Kenda,Maxxis??

Ok, I'm down to deciding on either the ITP holeshot ATR radials, Kenda Bear Claw ex or Maxxis Bighorns....I'm going to downsize to 25" tires/wheels and I'm wondering if anyone has any pro's or con's on these tires. What benefit do the radials give? The Maxxis and ATR's look a little wider then the Kenda's. I'm going more for performance/trail riding then mud/rock or snow but will encounter each element at some point, more likely mud then snow but not a mudder, don't like to play in it.

What are the benefits of aluminum over steel other then weight and does the weight make that much of a difference?

Does anyone also know how these tires would differ from the stock Carlisle Badlands??

Thanks for any feedback, I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to ATV tires.

I think that The ITP (holeshot) is a good trail tire.. Now the kenda is a great tire for the trails mud, snow, hard gravel. Now for the maxxis I hve know idea never had a set of them.. Sorry not much help. Plus the radial tires just last longer, think that they are a harder rubber..

My 2 cents

i love my bighorns if you look at my pics you will see them they are 25x10x12 and 25x8x12 they have 2000 miles on them, they are a great all around tire best in the snow not a mudding tire they work ok for that but not the goopy stuff as a trail tire the steering is improved greatly! and the best part is they are more like 26 tall so no ground shrinkage when you mount them. i have the stock carlies on my 06 i like them but sometimes feel like they are flat (softer sidewall) i have never had a problem with the bighorns or the badlands but for me it will be bighorns!

Bearclaws are to heavy....just to heavy. Mudlites weigh in at 18 pounds in the 22 inch while the claws are 26 pounds in 22 inch.....they dont grip much better than the lites either...ide go the bighorns they look good.
