High Elevation Outlander 800 issues
#1
While down at mammoth a couple weeks ago the 800 had a couple minor issues i think due to the high elevation. When above 9000 feet if you let off the gas fast it when you were starting to take off from a stop it would die or almost die sometimes. Must be a efi mapping issue as it is still giving it too much fuel i'm guessing? Never has it done it before but i normally dont ride that high of elevation. I love the bike and would sell all my other quads before i sold this one.
Thanks, Sean

I am headed up there this week, been there before. My 800 worked fine but I did notice a little power loss due to 9000 + elevation. Look out for the greenies up there, the forest service don't like us in "their" forest much.

Mine dies when I stop at high elevation, 11,000 and up. Starts right back up and runs good, just irritating. One of the guys said twin-air filter helped his same problem quite a bit. Went from dieing everytime to maybe one in ten stops.
