Read some of the posts on other forums about outfitters who are trading out their old quads and gettin some Ouites in the mix. It seems like after just a little while, the first quads chosen to ride are allways the Outies. The exception that I will grant is that if you are in moderate technical conditions the Polaris may have a better ride but it is nowhere near as fun to ride. It's not even a contest if you put a #150 bag of sand on the Outlander. You sure are expending a LOT of time and energy trying to prove a point that seems more like arguing whether granny smith or red delicious is a better apple.

Ummmmm..are your trailblazers 4WD?

Whats interesting here is you see a few people who have switched from Polaris to Can Am and swear they'd never go back but I wonder how many Can Am riders have switched to Polaris and claimed the same?
I watch the Polaris info-video and the Polaris beats the BRP. I watch the BRP info-video and the BRP beats the Polaris. Seems to me that the Polaris will beat the BRP in conditions where its weight and 4WD will be an advantage. THe BRP will beat when its lower weight will be an advantage. Unless you have piled a 150 pound bag on a BRP and raced it against a Polaris, you have not the slightest idea what will happen. Seems like a pointless statement to me.

Now as to the 4WD drive system. I have yet to hear any technical argument from you either for or against any system. Must be you are too busy picking apples.

I'd prefer to bang my head against the wall because thats pretty much about what you are doing.

Ummmmmm.....again, are your Trailblazers 4WD? Are you speaking from ownership experience riding both machines for many hours over the same terrain?

The Polaris DVD is bullspit and even most guys on the Polaris forum will tell you that. The BRP video is done with professional drives and with independently verified results and this is clearly stated in the presentation.

The SP800 is a fat slob coming in at nearly 800 LBS, thats just plain absurd. Is that technical enough for you?

Do you or have you owned an SP800? Do you have a LOT of seat time in both the Outlander 800 and SP800? Oh, what the heck, how about the 650/700 classes?

Can you point to the forum rules that require me to own a BRP 800 and a Polaris 800 before I can post on a thread? Just because you are incapable of analyzing 4WD systems doesn't mean everyone has the same problem.

LMAO, if you really believe that the BRP is completely unbiased, you have much to learn about marketing.

No, it says nothing about any quad. It means you fall back on silly insults to try to try to make a point.

This thread is about the BRP 800 vs the Polaris 800. Why are you telling us about these other machines. Ohh.. and where is the 150 pound bag of sand??

raidermike67.. you are taking this thread way too seriously. I happen to think both quads are very good quads. However, I believe the Polaris 4WD system is superior. Dang I haven't even hit all four of my points yet, only the first one. I see this is going to be a looooooooong thread.
