LOL - We have to pick a subject where both sides aren't exactly as sleazy as the other.
How about which would who would you rather have as a pinup girl, Hillary or her daughter?

Don't worry v2, he isn't even a Pastor. Funny thing is that he actually has about 4 log in names on this site, and will even have conversations with himself!

BTW rmanster. Congrats on your new ride. You can get opinions, feedback, and some major discussions on here but nothing beats going out and test driving them to see for yourself.

I am curious to hear feedback from others about the two systems.
>>>>>
I'd like to hear from those who have driven both systems and have hands on experience and not some techno babble. Actually someone who OWNS a Polaris 4x4 as well since YOU don't.

Hello, I am the original writer of this thread. All I have to say is I made my decision and bought a 800XT CAN-AM Three weeks ago after riding both of the vehicles many times in different situations. In my opinion it would have been buying a 1970's model Harley compared to a 2006 Model if I would have bought the SP. The ride and handling of the Outy just blows the 800SP away. The 800 SP reminds me of my mothers 1972 LTD.
Thanks for all the 4X4 Jibber Jabber but the Outy makes you feel like your in the **** pit and in control and not sitting on top of a tank rolling throught the Mountains.
>>>>>>>>
Thanks, it's nice to read well thought out and informative feedback. THIS is exactly what I was hoping to hear, someone who rode both and had to make a decison based on their hands on experience. All the more reason people should take what they read here with some grain of salt.......there is good info. to be found but be careful of those with ZERO experience trying to convince you of one thing or another.

The skids are a little irritating because of how much you have already put out, but to be safe you will need them. Raidermike made a template and his own skids, didn't cost very much, I'm sure he would be glad to share his experience with you.

I tend to agree....if I can help any feel free to PM me.
At the VERY least you should reinforce the front plastic with some diamond plate. You can cut a 12"x9" piece out, drill a couple of holes and bolt it right to the plastic, this should help some and shouldn't cost you but a few dollars.

LOL!!!
I have never met the guy or ridden with him, just chatted on the boards with him.
I tried to steer him to the light of Polaris, but alas he went the way of the Bomb..
On the subject of Bomb vs Polaris. I had a chance to ride a Bomb 800.. I do agree it is a nice machine and gobs of power vs my 500. Your comparing apples to oranges thou on the HP of the machines.
To be honest and in my opinion only. I didnt care for the ride of the Bomb or the way it felt. I felt way more in control on my ride than the BRP. But the BRP is a nice machine. I actually looked hard at the BRP before I got my Polairs. So far I am happy with mine.. I guess it goes downto what machine suits you best and what you feel comfotrable with.
When I was looking at the ATV's I was impressed with all the atv's except one brand. I am sure all the manu's made decent machines anymore.. Except those Artic-Cats. Just kidding....
When it came down to 'money down time' My picks were Polaris, second was Artic-Cat, third was BRP. I went with the Polaris because comparing the price the BRP was more money than I wanted to spend, and I heard the Artic Cats were just plain slow.. On a atv on the trails I have met the nicest people out there, you know it really doesnt matter what you ride its the fun on the trail that counts...

Yes...I the Pastor have surfaced. I just am a little tired (probably alone on this one) of guys coming here and just going on and on about what amounts to zero. No offense. I just remember when this was a great site for honest info. and real down to earth disagreements. With that being said.. there are a few guys who for whatever reason, like to come in here and stir up the pot. Won't mention any names...but remember...this is a BRP...thread.
