more hpr on big bore engines

I was just curious I had seen omr and a few others talking about the heads and closing up the surface for the piston for more compression in the chamber and was wondering would adding a 3rd sparkplug or repositioning where the stock 2 are located make a difference on the combustion and then you would also have to modify the timing curve and such but was just something I was thinking about and figured i would share my idea.
