My buddy and I each bought one today and mine is noticeably louder than his. Is it normal to hear a knocking sound on the engine at idle. We ran a short drag race today and the were dead even, but mine is louder at idle? Anyone know

 

Have your valves checked. I took mine in for its first service and the guy noticed it right away, I didn't notice any performance problems but this could be what you are hearing.

 

the valves might be rattling a little but mostlikely what your hearing is your clutch fingers, if you press the throttle slightly it should go away. if it does its normal and nothing to worry about.
