ds450
#15
i dont believe that 2 strokes and 4 strokes of the same cc will compete against each other, that would be plain weird. cuz 2 stokes have almost double the power of 4 strokes, that would be like having a 350 raptor against a 700 raptor, it doesnt make sense.
there's no way the new 450 is going to be 20 stroke, but will they come out with a 250 race quad, (ds250X? that will be meant for racing, it could be possible cuz honda now has a crf150f, (offroad trail bike) and a crf150r (racer) for dirtbikes. but i doubt that bomb will be designing a brand new 2 stroke engine in such a short time frame. And i think everyone is moving away from 2 strokes cuz they're not as environmentally friendly.
a rotax 800 efi engine in a light frame and with gears and ds650 susp would be really nice, it would whoop kfx700s, and raptor 700s and most likely all the 450s too, unless its heavy like the renegade
is bomb coming out with a 2x4 renegade that ways 60lbs less than the 4x4 version and costs 2k less, cuz thats what some ppl at school said, but hes a tool who says 4 strokes have double the power of 2 strokes.
