TextAnyone know of any liftkits for the John deere 650? I am thinking about getting more aggressive, bigger tires for mine. Right now mine is stock with i believ 25's . I have come to find out that there isnt much available aftermarket wise. The traxter 650 is the same only gear driven right?

They never made a 650 Traxter. Only a 500 gear to gear. The Bomb 650 belt was called a Quest. (Trail Buck) And the 500 gear to gear was the Traxter. Both good machines. They don't make the Traxter any more. But I think they do make it for JD still. (Buck)
There must not be much call for a super solid work quad. Sad.

Well i know JD dropped the quads this year, cause no one was buying them, cause thye never marketed it. If I didnt see one, i would have never known as well. Your right very good, dependable. I have had had mine 1 yr now, alittle over 1000 mi and have never had to replace anything.

A nearby place is selling out these cheap. A coworker just bought one with a windshield, handwarmers, step through bag, and a rear rack organizer for only $4600.00 total price OTD taxes paid. They still have about 15 left. I'm thinking about surprising my wife with one at this price. Has any of you ever ridden one of these and if so how do they ride? Are they really hard steering since I believe you are always in 4X4 mode. My wife weighs only about 140 and is 5 ft 5. She can ride my Sportsman 700 no problem. Also how are these in the power department and reliability. Thanks in advance, Brian

Yes I bought it here Text. She picked out mudflaps, mirrors, a windshield, and a rear hard cargo box and I got a soft rear cargo bag for my Sportsman with our $400.00 free accessory allowance. When I picked up ours, (took em 2 weeks to deliver it) they didn't seem to have too many left. I guess it's worth a try to see if they have any left. So far ours hasn't had any problems. The price is $4250.00 plus taxes, etc. Brian
