11:1 question
#11
I didnt have to pluck the money tree for my mods. If you have the head off already for the piston, do some mild cleanup in the head. There are some very ugly casting marks in there. Get a die grinder and some bits. Maybe you know a freind of a friend that has worked on cars and you can pay visit to and work with him on it. I just happen to know how to do this work from my past. Usually somebody knows someone like me. This is a potental free mod or a sixpack of dew. The intake porting....if you research, you might beable to do that too. I found a smokin deal from a very good friend that had the intake and TM45. I even got a deal on my piston. The gaskets and valve springs I purchased brand new for full price. So dont tear into it untill you have some parts ready to go back on so your not tearing it down 2 or 3 times. Have "some" self control and be patient.
Oh, and on the 11:1 make sure you buff off the dome ridges to reduce hot spots (ping).
