Outlander 800 Snow Plow
I am looking at getting a snow plow for my Outlander 800. I am looking at the Wwarn system, does anyone here have experience with this system? Anything I should know about it? Are there other systems that are better? And finally, where did you get it from. I would lke to find an online dealer but all the ones I found do not carry the Outlander 800 mount.
Thank you all for your time.
Sincerely,
Jeff

i m getting an outty 400 xt in December and i am getting a plow with it. The plow is made by bombardier and it has speacial mounts to the sst fram making it easy to put the plow on and off you can do it in matter of sec. i went with this because the plow is speacialy made for the outty line. u just got to remeber to take off the mounting braket that conects to the sst frame during summer so when your fram hits a log or something it might bend the bracket.

Kawiyowee...How much dod that blade cost? I have a new blade that was on my King Quad (sold it to buy the Outty) last year. I am assuming i can use this plow (quad boss) but I have to have a different mount for the Outty. I also understand that if you have skid plates then a plow could be a challenge since it must have direct contact with frame (brace).

Can't remember Pastor. And I just saw the paperwork the other day, dammit. I'm thinkin' it was about $500, but you better check.
I just took my skid plates off to put the bracket back on for this winter. If you want to cut up the skid plate and cut off the bend in the bracket and make some special u bolt clamps, could probably have both the skids and the bracket. I don't ride the rough trails in the winter as in the summer, so not taking too big a chance.
