I know. . . what is this forum anyways?

Well. Who's got one?

Anyone have one on your Christmas List?

I've been converting some movies to mpeg-4 to play on it. . .

Today I converted some of the helmet cam St. Anthony 2005 video I took.

Tomorrow I'm on a flight so, we'll see how it works out.

Anyone else convert movies or videos for it?

Got an external battery pack thing too. Sounds like it eats up the batteries.

Just got back from my trip.

Battery lasted longer than I expected.

I had bought a Belkin AA external battery pack to plug in when the power ran out. Didn't have to move it until the end.

The helmet cam records on my video camera. . . just as an external camera and the video camera acts as a VCR basically. I can convert the video on my Sony DCR Video Camera to a .mov file (I think). I actually took the video off the Sony and put it on my home DVD recorder and burned a DVD.

From the DVD you can use Videora to convert the video to MPEG-4 (I-Pod Format). You may need DVD Decrypter (it seemed to work on my home movies without DVD-Decrypter though).
