Ive got one and had no problems whatsoever. Most would say save your money and get a
vortec. Its an additional 300 bones. If i was planning on modding the crap out of my ds that is
the route i would go.Ive not heard of any complaints with the rwr either but it has no limit.
As long as you dont over rev you should be fine.
I think Chapperal is selling the Big Gun for 91 bucks.

Has anyone had any sprag clutch problems with the Big Gun? I know the pro-comm unit was to blame for some of these problems, but to my knowledge the Big Gun is programmed alittle different. I think!!

I'm guessing by no responses, the Big Gun hasn't been a trouble maker like the Procomm was??

The Big Gun CDI is the same as a Procom but with a Big Gun sticker on it.

The Big Gun has a different timing curve than the Procom. Procomm does manufactur the Big Gun but there is less advance before 1500 rpm... that is the problem with the Procom... Too much advance at startup, then when there is a misfire, the engine kicks back and bam, your sprag clutch is gone. I've not heard of any problems with the Big Gun. Just a little FYI.
