It was just me and fast69 there as far as the DS's are concerned.

The sand WAS NOT smooth.

I agree it wasn't the smoothest I've ever seen it, but it wasn't that bad for the bikes with full suspension.
fast69 and I didn't have any problems with the smoothness of the sand. There was a tractor there smoothing the sand, but they seemed to stop dragging the sand in the afternoon for some reason.

I still dont think he understands the concept of "smooth" sand for the caliber of bikes this place could generate.

Fast bikes "then" are slow bikes now.

I agree, it could have been much better. It wasn't Sicily Island smooth and it never will be, but for the average guy it was good enough.

I agree.

A full suspension bike shouldnt have any problems if they continue to "smooth" the sand.

Yap, I can remember having to park on the blacktop road on big weekends back in the day!
Hopefully he gets his act together because it's surely a nice place.

Yeah, I could remember when a 5.5 bike could go out and clean up the sand.

Now a 5.0 bike can go out and dominate 90% of everything there.

A 4.5 bike is in a league of his own out there simply because the true drag bikes cannot run in the rough stuff.
