I don't think you can lay the stocker flat... I'm pretty sure the one they had at my dealer needed to have water added, hence not a sealed battery. I could be wrong... it happened once before.LOL

No you can not lay a lead acid battery on its side if you could manage to keep the electrolitye in the battery. You will cause one plate to starve for electrolyte and sulfate up causing the battery to short and this normaly happens rather fast.Because the lead is stored under acid therfore it is completely etched as soon as the air hits it it will accelerate corrossion. Go with a gel cell.

Looks good AMD. I mounted mine in the center under the seat. I run a clamp on now and there is plenty of room. Ill get some pics up of mine soon and see what you guys think.

I submitted some pics of my relocation and 2 subframes. One with the box removed and one without. I also posted a pic of the stock box weld to the back

Yes, that battery can be mounted in the positions listed, because it is
a Non-Spillable battery.
The same battery, supplied with a separate acid pack, called the
YTX15L-BS, can not be tilted.

THIS IS RIGHT FROM THE COMPANY.
