300 foot sand drags, with OEM bottom end cases, aftermarket reinforced cylinder, lightweight drag frame, etc. In my opinion it can be done.

Happy New Year!

The power is already there if someone can figure out the chassis setup it can be done.

To get below 4 seconds with consistency, the transmission has to go and a slipper clutch will now become the standard. This of course has yet to be developed. But I am sure someone is working on it.

thats an easy fix if your willing to run a jackshaft they have made air timer clutches that run on a jackshaft in the dragbike industry for a while now.

This forum really died recently. What happened?

I can't login to the on dunes forums for some reason. Requested password but it doesn't show up.

A lot has transpired since you have been gone.

Power to weight ratio is there for a DS to run 3.5's, but the setup will have to be refined.

Scooby, when did you move to Minneapolis? You sure get around. Next question is when will you be back in TX or close? We missed you in Aledo.

I RaptorRRC, I moved to Minneapolis on 8/1/2006. Not sure yet when I will make it back down that way. I'm thinking about a trip to little sahara in the spring though. I miss having an open area like at Aledo to test and tune.
