Default Buttercup ride report

I went out for only the third time this season...... and man was it a blast... the sand was super soft, and the weather was perfect. Some crazy ju-ju going on though... my friend with a buggy rolled and snapped the left front a-arm, another friend cart wheeled his brand new 450R, another 450R had electrical issues that we had to fix in the middle of the dunes, and the same guy might have a cracked knee cap after the kick start snapped back onto his knee. But guess whose came out unscathed... thats right the fat man... I did cause some carnage on the chairs that disintegrated under me though. They just don't make a camping chair thats worth a **** do they... oh well Its all in a days work really. Anyway, it was really good to get back out into the dunes... very refreshing.

Oh and by the way there was a group with 3 or 4 DS's camped a few sites over... was that anyone from the Connection? I didn't make it over to say hello so if it was someone here I'm sorry I missed you.

That's great!! I've only been there once this season, with two other trips that fell through. I have a new DS650 and a new 400EX that havent seen the sand yet, so I'm excited to get there. Maybe soon.

Man I am jealous, I have not been to the dunes since MLK weekend 2006....too busy with new house and baby. Went to Plaster City New Years, but since I only have the Rhino right now, I will not make my triumphant return to Gordons/B-Cup till next year with whatever new quad pleases me most come August. That will also give me enough time to prep it with goodies to race the Pismo race in October!!!

700r???
450r???
R450???

No thanks on the KFX 450...

Perhaps Can-Am 450 or KTM 525....if they are finally available by then!!
