I've done business with these guys before, they're good folks, we put a set of the armadillo a-arms on crackerjacks gixxer 1000. I had a good chat with the owner back around Labor day and he was starting on a DS/ Busa conversion at the time- folks like that can't be all that bad! lol

I have a set on my bike now - not the +2 just regular width. Have had them on for over 3 years. No problems at all.
Nice fit and finish and if ever you need to replace a ball joint you can buy seperatly.

Looks pretty good wonder why they don't come with the 2" over tie rods it sure would be nicer.

Those look real nice! NICE AND EXPENSIVE! I'll stick to the poor mans way. lol! Just Invert your front rims. Plug the existing valve stem hole , drill a new hole on the inside, making it the outside. DONE !! +5 inches..(2.5 each side) I know pretty red neck!! but, Hey for those that don't have the bucks??!! I've done it on all our Quads for years and no problems

your way wont raise the front of the bike at all and wont help the ride over the whoops at 100 mph but yea... it would be wider

Would moving the lower shock mount inward , tward the frame, work to raise the front end? will you use stock shocks ? and how will this give you more travel? Simply making the front end wider will give a bit more USEABLE travel, Simple Geometry//Yes??

budtbarr, do you have any issues with bumpsteer running your rims that way? It seems like you are changing the steering geometry significantly. It also seems like the steering would be much harder that way.... just wondering.

No! Steering is fine, Bump steer is in check. My 18yo daughter rides a 03 ds and likes the wider front end better,, as do we all. The Suspention is softer as well due to more leverage on the shocks and with wider front end a bit more USEABLE travel. The futher away from the pivot point the more up and down throw. For very little money it's worth a try and you can easily put it back!!

We are pure duners so the wider front end works for us. Trail and other riding may be different story
