Dunes in North Carolina?

Default Dunes in North Carolina?

I have heard that there are some dunes in NC, but am curious to where they are and how good they are since I am not spioled like you guys and have dunes near me.

I don't know about dunes but I've seen ATVs and autos on NC beaches.

Hmm maybe closer than Silver Lake ......Bomb you ever rode over at Manchester (Sarco) area? That was like NJ Dunes..off limits now tho. Man I miss that place. My DS felt home there.

Default Dunes in North Carolina?

I think the dunes in NC are the same dunes the Wright Bros flew their 1st flight! Kitty Hawk on the OuterBanks of NC. If these are the dunes you are talkin about, they are off limits to ORV's. Other than that, not sure if any other dunes are rideable in NC.

Darn I was hopeing there were some dunes that were actually on the East coast for once, since the only place I really ride is here in the trailas and occasionally some wide open areas
