Hey everyone,

Been lurking here for about 2 months since I got my 07 DS learning and sucking up info. So far I have added a Yoshi pipe, KN, and jetted (thanks to the info on this board).

I am currently in the USMC, stationed in wonderful 29 Palms CA. I'll be retiring next March and hope to remain here (employment permitting). Been to Dumont twice and had a blast. I'm looking forward to hitting some of the other dune spots as well.

Two weeks ago Me and my DS rolled about 30 feet down a pretty steep and extremely rock hill. I tore some ligament in my shoulder and got quite a few cuts and bruises, but I'm ready to get back on the bike again.

The DS survived pretty well, bent tach mount, bent a brand new set of protaper bars, and a back wheel. Everything else is cosmetic. Already ordered new red plastic from my dealer, and can't wait to get this thing back together again.

I have sent a few PM's from the Garage thread, looking for most of the handlebar stuff (switches, levers, and mastercylinder) hopefully someone can help a new DS owner out .

Again, just wanted introduce myself, and thank the members for the DS education recieved so far.

Welcome to the forums and If you don't know Aceisback he is a retired marine from 29 Palms also and he can help you pretty much with anything you may need. He and his kid are also very good people.
