Default Question on General Can-AM quads

Hello guys, Im from the kawi forums.. I just signed up not too long ago.

Me and my buddy were planning on purchasing new quads, and had some questions about the Can-Ams.

Overall, what are your comparisions to other ATV models (Kawi ad Polaris were our other choices, we dont like Yamaha or Suzuki, Honda, etc)

How wel do they perform in the cold?

What exactly is Viscko Lock?

What else can you tell me about them from personal experience?

Thanks guys, much appriciated!

Default Question on General Can-AM quads

During recall front end on my 2 Prairies, the shop had loaned me a BF750. Met a guy on the trail on an Outy 800 Max (2 up). We talked and then switched rides for about 10 minutes, and when we switched back, my mind was made up to sell the Prairies and get an Outy.

I knew nothing about Bombardier or the Outy, but no question I was going to get one. Sold my Prairies in about 2 wks, had an Outy in about 4 wks, and never looked back. I do miss the P700, no doubt.

Polaris has a decent ride, but I felt as though I was up on top of a box, same as the bF750, instead of down low and stuck to the trail. Engine and fuel tank are mounted low. I'm not going to say much more that that, you just have to ride some, then you'll see what all the fuss is about.

Viscolok is 4wd, really it's in 3wd, you can leave it there all day, not hard to turn with it on, but I only switch to it when needed. When one front tire starts slipping, viscolok oil plates start transferring power to the slipping wheel at the same rate it does to the one with traction. Pretty quick the traction tire starts pulling and you're gone. No diff lok, some people complain, but it's foolproof 4wd, and it worked good for me in the snow just this last Sunday. My Outy with Terracross RT's outdid the other bikes.

EBS, the best, even better than Kawi. I wouldn't have anything else.

You both have to go ride an 800 std or an XT, or a Renegade, same thing but 40 lbs lighter and better suspension.
