Default Need help! One wire left.

I bought a "project" DS, it didn't have the motor installed and it needed a little TLC. Anyways the motor is now back in and everything is hooked up except one wire. It is hard to describe, but it comes out of the black bundles of wires where they Y off above the motor. It is very long (probably 18" give or take) it just has a male end, and it is a single yellow wire. It is all I need to hook up to finish. It's long enough to reach around the headlight or the airbox area. I have looked, but couldn't find anywhere that looked right.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

post a pic that might help, a single yellow wire doesn't come to mind immediately but maybe if we could see the connector on the end?? You came to the right place to get an answer somebody will know.

I believe that wire runs down the right side of the motor (sitting on it) and connects via tiny screw into hole just right of sprocket. I think its call the clutch start cancel? Pretty sure thats what it is.

Just double checked and mine is yeller.

That's it!
I called the previous owner and he remembered pulling the motor and told me to check in front of the counter sprocket. It fit on there like a glove. I kinda feel silly not being able to find where it went, Oh well.
I hope to have it going by this weekend.
Thanks for the quick replies guys, I'm glad to be apart of the DS family.

Oh yea, thats what that thing is called. I knew where it went but my mind went blank on the name. Now if I can just figure out why my neutral light doesnt work I'll be in great shape! LOL

doesn't that wire have an "eye terminal" though with a hole in it for a screw to go through ? the "male connector" is what threw me ...
