Default DOBECK AND HMF PIPE

I am looking at getting the pipe and dobeck controller off ebay, anyone ever used or seen it used? Is it really a 9 horsepower increase for 350 bucks?

Default DOBECK AND HMF PIPE

Might get 9 hp if really, really loud. I've heard 5-7 hp, still loud. There are different pipes with various quiet cores, might want to ck out hmf site, keep in mind they're salesmen.

CC1999 uses a hmf without a dobeck, just had his fuel curve fattened up.

I believe hmf pipe is the best bang for the buck. Not sure about dobeck. I am waiting to see if I can find a dyno with an air:fuel ratio sniffer, and a power commander or something like to adjust the a:f ratio. Too lean feels faster, can easily ruin your engine, runs way too hot.
