Default 250R Carburetor on a DS650?

I was wondering if this would work and if it would be a worth while upgrade?
The carb I was looking at is a PWK 39MM Keihin carburetor.
If anyone has done this please let me know how it worked out?
Thanks

IMO, That would not be very good at all. You would be going down to small. You would be better off with the stock carb.

Maybe if you ran two of them it could be worthwhile...

Actualy i have run and very suscessfully 40 mm lectrons on my pirahanas they pulled harder on the top then my tm 48's im running now day's but i had that nasty little slide problem........???????? probably just my cable routing though.... But im not sure about the 39's thats tiny..Oh by the way i ran them on kevein from fastbygast recomendation and he was right they utilized the head flow better.

If you are looking for an INEXPENSIVE way to get rid of your stock diaphram carb. I have a TM42 with alky kit and cable for DS in "MY GARAGE".

I paid for a TM45, but only received a TM42. My loss is your gain.

You would be better off with a 450r carb imo or not changing it at all.
