Default Dynatek ignition?

Since when does Dynatek make these? Or do they even? Sounds pretty nice, but there isn't anything on the website about a can-am...hmmm

This is the first I've seen of a Dynatek for the DS650. It is good news. The price is much lower than the vortex and the programmer is only $99! Nothing on Dynatek website though.

I would call Dynatek directly. I used them for my Rhino CDI. Maybe THE best company I've ever worked with. I had a CDI of theirs go bad. They replaced it and back to me faster than I could have ever hoped for. They make all their own stuff and it's TOP NOTCH! Give them a call. If it is true, it's huge for the DS community.

I wrote to Dyna tek and this is their response:

Dear Mr. Pena,

Thank you for your interest in Dynatek ignitions. The reason you could not find these on our website is that they are not yet in stock. The units you see on these auctions must be engineering prototypes not intended for resale. These would not be covered by our standard warranty. We have released the design for production and should have them in about 2 months. Please keep an eye on the website for updates.

Sincerely,

Scott Valentine

I guess this goes to show you got to be careful with new stuff!

wow...that is good news...with four curves and being re-programable they will be a hit, expecially if they sell in the $300 range. 2 months can't come soon enough...

I'm running one on my stage 2, I switched from a RWR so I could reprogram when the time comes and have a rev limiter. Runs real strong, but honestly I didn't notice a difference between the curve I use and my old RWR one.
