Default A Two Folded question

Ok I know this is going to be more of a preference questions but still would like to know answers... Own 07 Outlander 800, 06 Grizzly 660 (moded out), 06 Honda Rubicon 500.

Now purchased Kenda Executioners (tires) for the Grizzly (wifes ride). Live in Missouri Ozark regions, went to Finger Lakes area and I GOT STUCK on the Outlander, she walked through the mud laughing. Not going to happen again. Come on guys give me a good tire for Rocks/Mud, I do not want to lose the ride as I know the Executioners will do but I do not want the wife to out do me again..... I can burn rings around her in everything but mud....

Next question, as the Honda was purchased just for the grandkids and now is sitting more than riding thinking of trading. Looking at 07 DS650 but am really concerned about no reverse... I am not racing but do like to play heavily, if anyone knows Ozark area then you will know reverse can be a real assit.. Is this NOT the bike to have for this reason (I do not play in sand areas)? If not close to same comparision any recomendations?

Thanks,

Default A Two Folded question

Look at the Raptor 700 it has reverse I believe.
As far as tires, what does the outlander come with? Maybe check into some Dirt Devils or some Kenda Bearclaws.
I have the Bear Claws and I cant seem to get my 2x4 stuck anymore, when my tires wear out on my wolverine I will probably put the claws on it as well.

I see you live In Warrensburg. I also have executioner tires on my foreman and love em. If you dont want to lose the ride, I would recommend maxxis bighorns or mudlite xl's. They would be much better then stock, but not quite as good as the executioners in the mud. You may also look for swamplites also.

Let me know sometime and we can meet up in fingerlakes or deepwater.

Thanks,
the DS in DS650 does stand for dune sport. some members ride in the woods, but there are better bikes specific for what you ride in than the DS, likethe z400, raptor 700, .....anything 400 and up with a reverse...except the predator...that is the only sport quad i don't like, and refuse to ride (again)

Default A Two Folded question

Thanks to all that had some input. before I bought the Executioners I looked at the bearclaws... Can-Am rides so good now with the stock tires I hate to loose the ride by going with agressive mud tires. I have looked at MAXXIS MUDZILLA's, say they ride smooth, any thought on these? Also what size do you all run 27's or 28's? 8/9/10"frt or 12's?

Know DS is Dune Sport, too bad though on no Reverse, bet would sell more if the DS 650 had reverse. Do not like the 400 up series as most are fairly small, big guy here, look like a fat man on a mini bike...... Well look at the Raptor.

Love Missouri Ozark trails, mud, rocks, water, creeks, grasslands all in one... Planning on goign to St Joe park soon as well as Finger Lakes again.
