Default Mud nationals and Can Am 450!!

At the mud nationals this weekend, the vice president or maybe he was the president of Can Am, was out there. Can Am sponsored the freestyle show and this guy got out there to do a speach to everyone. All the riders were on Hondas and Yamaha 450 atv's but the guy said to watch out for next year because these guys will be riding Can Am.

Anyway that sounded like a plug for the new 450 to me. Hope I got the message right.

next year, next year, next year, we've been haring about next year for years man!!!

The Outlander is an awesome machine, and so is the Renegade of course, but fact is that these are not what everybody wants, but Bomb is so proud of that motor and chassis and they are stuck so far up there ***** with it, that it would not surprise me if the presedent was actually eluding that he actually expects riders to switch from sport quad to sherman tank by next year after they see what these machines do in the GNCC this year - which by the way Can-Am bought the rights to all GNCC signage and they are the major sponser for the next 3 years straight and the only name you will see in conjunction with the letters GNCC.

yes a sport 450 does exist, it is out there and has been seen, and yes they have had pro riders trying them to give feedback on what needs tweeked and such, but this has been the case for years with nothing coming available for us in the 450 class. they can't seem to get it right, and by the time they do all the other companies will have moved on to better things in the ever evolving quad world.

I may sound like I'm ragging a bit on Bomb, and I guess I am, but the reasons are plain. I've given them solid faith for many years, staying optomistic and defending them and al that jazz, with nothing given to me in return. Since that didn't work, then maybe if we all rag on them instead of showing patience, that may yield some results. It certainly can't hurt!!

But yes indeed thankyou for the report animal, we do appreciate it, don't mean to chop on your post but wanting to throw some pennies out.

No prob man, every opinion counts.
I agree that they are dropping the ball on this one but maybe when its finally released it will just blow away the competition.

Oh and did I mention that Can Am swept the event!!!

Yep, your correct.

But another year the bike will hit the market and another 5 years before any competitive aftermarket performance parts will be available.

headsup, you took the words right out of my ...keyboard. Parts! I too, am tired of waiting. I ran the first two GNCC's on my YFZ and spoke with the guys at the BRP trailer and they were so tight lipped about it I just left frustrated.
On the flip-side, there sure were ALOT of Can-Am's there racing in the utility classes. They dominate every utility class.
Maybe Can-Am will do the same in the sport class? I spoke with J. Natalie and he said he will be testing with them soon, but had not even seen a picture of what one looked like. Had no specs and was justifiably skeptical.
Hightower! We may just meewt afterall! I will try my hardest to make it up your way for the IRONMAN
