exhaust, and jetting
#1
The only thing im missing is my Top Gun exhaust, and i cant wait anylonger. I have my K&N, ported intake, sprockets, and the twist throttle is on the way. Which brings me to putting the stock exhaust back on until i can find a Top Gun, or something else close to. Now as far a jetting goes with the new K&N, and intake, and OMR stock carb mods, what should i do. I was thinking probably buy a kit that will have the jets i need for the setup i have right now, and then when my exhaust issue is sorted out, take the appropriate jet out of the kit to compensate. Ive never jetted anything before, therefore i have no idea which kit, or stage of kit to buy. Like is said ill need one with the jets for the settup as is, then bigger for the future exhaust. Any ideas? Also if i cant get my hands on a Top Gun, what should i look for HMF?

Nobody has any ideas, i think what ill probably do is go and by a stage 2 moose, or dyno jet kit. Im guessing that should have everything i need. If anyone here is running a machine with close to the same mods as i have, please lut me know what size jets you're running then ill just match the kit to that size.

The problem is, that depending on weather and altitude nobody can get you exact for jetting. we can more then likely get you close. What altitudes? What temp range will you be in? High or low humidity? Are you still running the stock jets with the omr carb mods? Are what is listed the only mods at this point?

The mods listed are the oly mods done. I am at 2300ft, with a riding range of -10 to plus 30. Humidity i would say is as low as it gets, im in the bald @ss prarie so its hot and dry. Jets are stock, but the machine was completely stock when i started modifying. Since then i did the OMR carb mods, K&N, and ported intake. The exhaust will be stock until i find a Top Gun so i would like a jet setup for both so im not rushing around looking for jets when i find an exhaust.
