I just bought a used 2000 DS and need to get a "REAL" rev limiter the stock one is worthless. Can anyone send me links for the rev limiter and pipes? Make suggestions on what I can get for more "bang" for my buck $$$?

 

You can use the CDI Box out of a BMW F650 it has no rev limiter, or a Ron Woods has one. For the pipe I like the Graydon Proline one best.

 

ive got the Ron Woods CDI and complete exhaust.i love it,its like daylight and dark compared to stock.plus theres no rev limiter,so she really whines up now.

 

I also have the ron wood pipe and rev limeter. It is great. The low end power is great. Chop Did you rejet? Did you rejet again for cold weather? Ifso what size.

 

i just bought the bike in november and my dealer done all the installation.it was rejeted 190-195 i think im not really sure.im also running K&N filter without the airbox lid and droped to a 15 tooth on front.MAN,you talking about bottom end.it has all that ill ever need and pulls way stronger than stock.the jetting is at sea level.

 

www.team-pami.de sells a CDI box. I believe it has a higher rev limit, not sure about ignition advance. Pipes: CT racing, big gun, ron woods, FMF, graydon, YRD, Alba, duncan racing, white brothers R4.
