I was curious if anyone else out there is annoyed with their bike. It squeaks like crazy and I dont know how to grease it. I kinda feel like im ridin an old polaris POS and not a 10K bike. Also has anyone snorkled theirs? Any easy modds to make it faster?

don't know about the squeak. there's only a few places to grease them. control arms are one. now the snorkle...i did my 500xt and a 800xt was realy easy (and cheap).i'm sure the air box and the cvt in and out would be the same.will have pics soon to show the whole process. the snorkle did add alot of power to the 500.

Mine squeak like a girl lololol... Mine squeak from the suspension bolt. What you can do is to remove the top suspension bolt and put some grease. there is an other product better than grease but i can remember the name. I will let you know when i find it.

Loctite i think its called. Keeps stuff from movin around. there is a red and a blue one. one of them you have to apply heat to get whatever you applied it to to get it off

That would be anti-sieze, most parts stores carry it, just don't get none on ya it tends to end up all over.

the red locktite is permanent.. use the blue it is anti vibe & works really well. there is also a green that you put on after it is tight. anti sieze will prevent the bolts from rusting together.

Is your noise in the front or rear? I have an Outti 800 which basically has the same rear suspension. It had a squeak in the rear suspension when rocked side to side, but would not squeak if pushed straight down. Dealer dissassemble the rear suspension, finding that one of the nuts on the torsion bar was loose and also some rust. They cleaned it up, lubed and re-assembled which complerely eliminated the squeak. Problem is that 6 months later the squeak has started in again.
