Im hopen ROTRAX motor! EFI, Aluminum framed, rebuildable shocks, maybe is this quad rips a hole in the ATV world , we will see aftermarket guys pick up on the DS650....like lighten the quad up!!!

If the DS 450 is as reliable/bulletproof as the DS 650 Rotax engine, it will be the beast of all beasts, hands down.

 

I'm thinking it'll be a version of the Rotax 450 used on the ATK machines.

maddog56, could you post a link to a 450 Rotax in an ATK? I know they bought the tooling for Cannondale 450s and I hope updated those so they quit blowing up. I can't find anything associating them with Rotax?

 

The way I understand it is that ATK used the Rotax 432 (or whatever disp it was) as their bike engine prior to the acquisition of cannondale. When ATK fixed the cannondale motor, they switched everything over to the cannondale powerplant.

 

I will have one. period. i have not been on the forums in awhile but this is exactly what the forum needs to breath some new life into it. i just want to know when dealers will actually have them and how much?
