Default Anybody familur with GM v6 motors?

Just wondering if anybody knows about the topic.I have a 1997 buick skylark limited. And its a great little car.Ive done alot to it.I put on 16inch american racing rims, infinity sound system, window tint ect.My question is its got alotta miles and it has a kinda peppy 3100 v-6 in it.I want to put a 3800 v-6 crate from gm in it.Are the engine cradles the same between the 3100 to 3400 to 3800.Just the 3800 would make a nice power increase from 150-160 horse to 200-238 horsepower.Any info well apreciated.thanks.nate

i will not work. the 3100 is a 60 deg V6 and the 3800 is a 90 deg. you would also have to change the transmission, will not bolt up.

Thats true the 3.3.But for only 5 extra horses.I know im putting a free flow alluminum intake on it.And that was said to live it up a bit.Its kinda funny when i beat honda civics and toyota corrollas in a buick. But my car isnt much bigger than those cars either.I love the v6 torque.

Look at where the torque hits on the 3.3L(2000rpm) and more horses vs. the 3.1L that has to rev all the way to 4000rpm to get the same torque.....and still less HP

I have the 3.8 V-6 GTP super-charged grand-prix.2001 year..
I think it is listed at 240 H.P. Great motor......Lots of take-off speed in it!!!!
Needs to run on high-grade fuel 91 octane or higher......I get beter gas milage with the higher octane also...........Caper.......
