Anyone here have any substantial seat time down on both the 500 and 800 Renegade ? would appriciate to know if the 800 is worth the extral 2K.

Depends what you want to do. If you want lots and lots of power the 800 is the quad to get.

 

It's really that simple, if you're a power junky then you will want the extra cc's, if you don't really have too many places to let it rip and tear, then you probably wouldn't benefit from the extra power. As I read in one magazine, if you never rode the 800 before, you won't know what you're missing in the 800, keep in mind even the 500 is the most powerful in it's class and will feel like it has as much power as a competitors 650. It's no slouch but the 800 is over the top, however, if you frequently go riding with others who will be following behind you, you might want to lean toward the 500, the 800 constantly throws projectiles at people behind it. People complain to me all the time about big rocks that go flying by them. The 800 wil leave you thinking you're riding a hot sport race quad without the shifting. I went from a 660 Raptor, and the 800 Renegade is every bit as exhilaratiing.

 

so renegade 500 are avalible for purchase?

Actually i went to a dealer yesterday and they had one in a crate he said he had it for 18 days now

 

From what I understand its not going to be released until all the 08's are out, Ill have to visit my dealer today and see if they have any new 500 renegades.
