BRP wants $600 for their winch & mount. Has anyone got one? Is there a cheaper way to go about this? Thanks for the help.

Where did you find the BRP mount and winch? Is it online anywhere? I've been looking for it...

I asked my dealer and thats what he quoted me. I assumed it was available but I didn't ask. I just thought that was a little high.

So far the rope has been more superior than the wire. You would think the rope isnt that strong but i have put it in a challengin test so far. Its nicer on the hands, doesnt seem to get tangled as easy, and floats on water. Only disa. ive heard so far the rope will roat if all wheeled up wet, but there is no signs of it.

how are you guys liking the Renegades? I was at the dealer today looking at them, i like the 500cc one, especially b/c of the price diff lol, but my buddy works the service dept and has had a renegade come in once for a bent frame, then came in a few weeks later with the frame bent again.

all has been good for the nasty muskeg rallies ive been on. Just have had a bent front rim, but was able to bash it out. My biggest pet peave has to be how muddy i get.

Other than that its been trouble free miles.

Only had a chance to take mine out once. Haven't even got the first 10 hours on it yet. So far I'm impressed. I'm used to riding sport bikes like ATC 250R & TRX 450R. This one is definitely different but I really like it. Plenty of power!!. I had a Polaris Scrambler 500 with pipe, clutch kit, ect... and this is way better. Polaris has a big design flaw with their swing arm where it pivots. They use plastic bushings instead of bearings & they take lots of grease before & after you ride. Don't get one of those! I did alot of reading on the Renegades and for the most part everyone seems to really like them other than the price. There are a few stories like what you've heard, but I doubt there's any make/model that doesn't have a bad story or two about them.
