I got my first ticket on Monday. My pipe was to loud, it was only at 100 DB. Just 4 over the limit, which is 96 DB. Is there a way to make my pipe not as loud.
I have a White Bro's pipe, Is it the more dics that you have the louder. If any one Know's let me Know.
Thanks Guys.
PS. The ticket was $160.68
THIS SUCKS LOL

In playing with discs and a sound meter on Supertrapp systems I'm surprised how many disc you have to remove to lower the sound levels much. They are tunable for flow and a great spark arrestor, but they are not a good primary muffler.
When I had the Top Gun and had 12 discs I was right around 102, I ran it all the way down to just 6 disc and still was at around 98 DB using the SAE Sound Testing so in my experience they can fine tune the sound level and cut the bark, but will not drastically lower it without really cutting the flow.
The link above is interesting for those of you that have sound check issues where you ride. It has the RPMs for most dirt bikes and quads at the back.
