new tires
#13
Well guys, this morning I took the realtor tires I had on my EX off and mounted them on my DS rims. I can't wait to see what kind of a roost I can throw with those tires on. I plan on hittin up the dunes and play in some snow as well. Does anyone know who to measure the width of rims? I don't know if you measure form bead to bead or what.

KillerB & Chop,
What wrong with a little mud? I don't look for the biggest & deepest mud hole I can find and see if my bomb is really a 4x4! But let's face it, your from PA & TN. Kinda of the same land as me, so when it rains it gets a little muddy. So come-on, your not the type of guys to look out and see it's rained the night before and say no... are you? You'll killing me when you say Mud + whatever = $$$$. Ride it, if you want to keep it mint. Put it your garage and just look. And while your looking, I'll be riding...... See ya ladies.

Well guys my DS actually moved in the deep snow with my realtors and I adjusted the toe in. I went a total of 1/2" and the wandering went away. I am however a bit bugged about the way my DS was running in the snow. Hey newdslover, have you ridden your Ds in some snow? I couldn't get my Ds out of 2nd gear or it would bog down and die. I'm wondering if there is somethig wrong. The snow depth that I was riding in was about 6-8". I don't understand, with the power of a 650, the DS should have had no problem spinning them tires in the snow. Can anyone help here? I'm thinking that maybe the gearing is too high. Maybe I should purchase a 15 tooth as well. I don't know about you guys DS, but mine kinda builds the power on, it doesn't have explosive power like my EX. Is this normal? I am afraid to take it out to the dunes because I don't want it to bog out on me in some deep sand. On dry land, my Ds has the power but when you put it under a load(snow or mud)it tends to bog down and I end up down shifting from 3rd to 2nd. Help please....thanks.

I bought mine to ride, not to shack it up in my house like I would a woman! Why do you think they still sell CHEER & THE CAR WASH IS STILL IN BUSINESS! To wash your things after you ride dude! Get out and have some fun! And as far as your comment about being in the repair shop? I don't think so, I do my work! Most women riding I know have there man work on it or take it to the shop. So, which do you do? Were getting of the subject here, go ride.....Come rain or sun or snow.
