Default Conversion is DONE!!!

The conversion is done and P U R D Y! Test drove the monster today and.... simply sick. It's got dyno tires on it now, but you really have to be prepared for reving past 8k. It's violent to say the least. There is so much acceloration that you have to force your hand to stay in it. Because the gearing is so much higher than a street bike, the acceleration rate is simple ridiculous. FUN to say the least.

That said, because the motor doesn't really start making power until about 9500 and beyond... it's a little scary to think what's coming up.

I'll have a full set of pics coming soon... hopefully tomorrow by lunch.

SICK! SICK! SICK!

Cool, can't wait to see pics. And you are definitely right about the rev's, it's weird the first few times.

I hope it lives up to the Ninja praise. This certainly would not have been possible without Bud. He's been my biggest source of info.... I hope that I'm able to help others as he's helped me. He's the best.

It's got a NO MERCY sticker on it and ready to roll. I'll be taking pics tomorrow. I'll even try to get some video of it if I can. Not sure where I'll post the video though. Really just need a sound bite. The exhaust is pretty sick.

Called up a sand tire company today to order a set of paddles. The guy on the phone said that my creation is "CHEATING"... he actually said that to me twice. Got some negative vibes so I got a price and then threw the number away. Went to Bud's guy in Utah and got the paddles ordered and when the are made, shipped for a little cheaper and received AWESOME customer service. Bud came through again.... I owe Bud and his boy a good dinner. All their R&D has made my life a BUNCH easier. There is a HUGE amount of time and tinkering involved with this type of a project. Those who have tread the water before me... PROPS to you guys. Doing this without help would have been VERY expensive and EXTREMELY time consuming. Something as simple as purchasing tires makes all the difference in the world. It's not like buying some Gecko's and then re-ordering sand sharks because the lizards didn't work. This is 5 HUNDO a set. Kind of hard to part with $500 over and over again.

Here we go again Bud...

THANKS!!!! For everything!!!!
