Good prices on Outlanders?
#1
Was just out cruising some local dealers, found a new 2007 650 Outlander XT camo, "demo" with 1 mile on the odometer, $6495, and a 2007 800 with 312 miles on it ,a few war wounds, some fender gouges and a big dent in the very front of the spar frame right behind the front bumper, $8995, but that included the stock tires/wheels, and an Apache track set up(which is currently mounted on the quad, looks like a small tank !!) I have little to no real experience with Can Am, are these good prices? They also had an 07 Renegade, 300 miles on it,looked like new, $7200. Still a lot of money to me, but seemed like a reasonable price for the condition. Isn't the track kit almost 3000 by itself? possible unseen damage to the quad for that price?

Do you need the trax? Would you have bought them otherwise? If no, then not a good price. The frame is still ok, but the guy didn't think enough of his quad to put skids on it.
On the 650, the price is ok, but lots of guys say they wish they had gotten an 800.
The renegade is what I would choose, unless you need to haul stuff around. There is a winch and rear rack out for them. Ask the guy to show you his maintenance. Or is this a effing dealer, probably is. If so, finance somewhere else and offer cash if he comes down a couple of hundred, IF there is a warranty with it. Good luck.

That is an excellent price on the 650. What State is that in?
